A manufacturer of Commercial HVAC Systems in the Grand Blanc, MI area is seeking an experienced Quality Manager. This position is a direct hire opportunity. Shift: 1st - hours are flexible but typically 7AM to 4PM Monday thru Friday. Excellent benefits, 401K, profit sharing, pet insurance and more!Job Description - POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for oversight and maintenance of quality department and all quality related processes and procedures. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s) Understand customer needs and requirements to develop and maintain effective quality control processes.Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff and provide guidance and feedback.Conduct and oversee quality processes, procedures, audits, etc. to ensure conformance across the organization.Review specifications for products and processes.Confer with customers by telephone or in person to obtain information about products or services, obtain details of complaints.Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.Check to ensure that appropriate changes were made to resolve customers' problems.Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation.Contact customers to respond to inquiries or to notify them of claim investigation results or any planned adjustments.Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess validity of complaints and to participate in determining possible causes.Recommend improvements in products, processes, service, or procedures to prevent future problems.Review issues with engineering, sales, and manufacturing, examining equipment or design claimed to be defective, and participate in continuous improvement[KF1] .Attendance at work during regularly scheduled shifts and scheduled meetings is an essential duty. Prefer a working knowledge of welding certifications (ASME, AWS) and CWI is a large plus.Computer SkillsMicrosoft Office Suite, knowledge of ERP software
