Systems Integration Engineer

Job Description PLEX Solutions LLC is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to support new work in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. This role will actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, as well as analyze technical issues, and develop and implement corrective actions. Position Overview: Actively manage enterprise computer systems and networks, analyzing technical issues and developing and implementing corrective actions. Observe and interpret visual outputs indicating the operating status of systems and network components for designated computer network infrastructure. Translate user requests into technical diagnoses, then apply diagnoses to develop technical solutions to meet user needs. Develop strategies to migrate existing customers to new architecture/technology with minimal impact. Evaluate new technologies or equipment that can be added to agency standard solutions. , Required Skills Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, (OR) an Associate's degree plus 7 years of relevant (OR) High School diploma/GED plus 9 years of relevant experience may be considered. (Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field. Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or systems administration. Strong Linux experience is required. Experience in Systems/network administration, applicable administration, and/or information technology support or management. Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure. Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage. Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting language like Bash, Bourne, or C TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required. SALARY RANGE: $85k - $210k Salary offered will depend on numerous qualifying factors such as clearance, degree and the years and depth of applicable experience. The actual salary is determined by specific program, labor category, education/certifications, professional experience and security clearance levels.
