This includes providing robust and credible challenges to various risk management processes, such as risk assessments, incident documentation, control testing, and governance. The role also involves quality assurance activities to ensure adherence to risk management methodologies and best practices, as well as the development and communication of ORM requirements to stakeholders.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Operational Risk Management at the company include supporting the implementation and refinement of ORM and ERM frameworks, participating in governance forums, and partnering with subject matter experts in various risk management areas. The role requires the identification of operational risks that exceed the company's risk appetite, as well as the identification of opportunities for process improvements. The candidate will also be involved in business project workstreams, providing ORM expertise, and supporting business units in enhancing their risk management capabilities.
