Accountant
Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Conduct monthly and quarterly general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
Perform variance analysis to identify trends and potential issues
Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards, including IFRS
Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data and provide support for decision-making processes
Manage accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation
Oversee payroll processing and ensure accurate recording of employee compensation
Skills:
5+ years of accounting experience.
Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organizational and stress management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly excellent working knowledge of Excel.
Excellent knowledge of Quick books.
Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use good judgement when dealing with confidential data
Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
