Quill On-Call/Part-Time Bartender (Weekends)

On-call BartenderThe Jefferson in Washington D.C. is currently recruiting for an On-call Bartender to join our highly acclaimed and award winning Food & Beverage Team in Quill Bar. This position requires availability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.The Jefferson, Washington D.C. has been named one of the top hotels in Washington, D.C. and presents this exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in growing within a setting that finds delight in the details that take our guests experience beyond expectation.Responsibilities:Prepare and serve an extensive selection of wines and various cocktails adhering to the high quality standards of the Quill BarMust have a great depth of knowledge of drink recipes, be able to mix drinks accurately, quickly, and without wasteMaintain required bar supplies and ensure the bar and lounge area remains clean and inviting for customersOther duties include taking orders, serving food and beverage items while demonstrating exceptional knowledge of all product selections offeredQualifications:Minimum 2 years' experience as a bartender preferably in an upscale environmentGood knowledge of wines with experience in mixology and preparation of classic cocktailsPolished, professional appearance and welcoming, approachable demeanorAlcohol Awareness CertificationThis position requires scheduling flexibility to include working nights, weekends, and/or holidaysWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity and inclusion and belonging at our company.
