CT Technologist
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans while ensuring patient safety and comfort. This role is critical in providing accurate diagnostic imaging for patients in various settings, including emergency rooms and trauma centers. The CT Technologist will work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform CT scans according to established protocols and procedures.
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
Maintain and operate CT equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to discuss imaging results and patient care.
Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Document patient information, scan results, and any relevant observations accurately.
Assist in the training of new staff or students in CT procedures as needed.
Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology, including nuclear medicine and mammography techniques.
Qualifications
Certification as a CT Technologist from an accredited program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent certification.
Knowledge of physiology, diagnostic radiology, and emergency medicine practices.
Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or urgent care setting is preferred.
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Ability to work in high-pressure situations, especially within emergency room settings.

Pay: $51.18 - $70.00 per hour
