Hiring: Senior Staff GPU Physical Design Engineer (Contract)Austin, TX / San Jose, CA (Onsite – 5 days/week)Pay range: $65.00 - $90.00/hr on w2We’re looking for an experienced GPU Physical Design Engineer to work on high-performance GPU & SoC IP for advanced technology nodes.Key Responsibilities:• Lead block-level physical design (floorplanning, P&R, CTS, timing closure, signoff)• Drive STA, DRC/LVS, power optimization & reliability• Improve design methodologies, automation & flows• Collaborate cross-functionally from synthesis to tape-out• Support best practices, documentation & implementation strategy.Requirements:• 7–11+ years of experience (based on education)• Strong hands-on experience in full physical design flow• Expertise in Synopsys/Cadence tools (ICC2, Innovus, PrimeTime, Tempus, StarRC)• Experience with GPU/SoC design & advanced nodes (≤5nm)• Strong scripting skills (Python, Tcl, Shell, Perl)Nice to Have:• GPU or high-performance compute architecture exposure• Advanced node design experience
