Financial Operations ManagerPharos Admin Services · Skilled Nursing · Assisted Living · Hybrid · Full TimeAbout Pharos Admin ServicesPharos Admin Services provides specialized administrative services to Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and Assisted Living (AL) Operators (referred to internally as Banners). We serve as the operational and financial backbone for our Banner partners, giving them the infrastructure and strategic support they need to focus on delivering excellent resident care. Our Financial Operations team is central to that mission, working directly alongside Banner leadership every day.Role SummaryThe Financial Operations Manager is a high-impact individual contributor who functions as the financial accountability partner to the Banner Operational Managers. This role carries dual accountability: serving as a financial partner who owns the P&L review and budgeting cycles, and as a trusted relationship manager who is the face of Pharos to Banner operators on a day-to-day basis.The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, operationally curious, has a strong financial acumen, and naturally relationship oriented. They are comfortable moving between financial models and executive conversations, and they bring credibility and communication skills to influence outcomes across a portfolio of Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living locations.Key ResponsibilitiesAccountability PartnerThe Fin Ops Manager is the primary financial accountability partner to the Banner Operating Managers. Core responsibilities include:Supporting the Key Factor Review (KFR) processLeading the P&L review process: verifying accuracy with Accounting, AP, and Revenue Cycle teams; driving review meetings; ensuring completion of variance worksheets; documenting takeaways and action items; and distributing post meeting summaries to the CEO, RDO, and executive leadershipDriving the annual and periodic budgeting process: collecting historical data, modeling known future changes, building budgets aligned with operational realities and financial targets, recommending adjustments to hit EBIT goals, and supporting budget compliance initiativesProviding financial leadership and analytical support across census development strategies, supplemental revenue programming compliance, quality assurance programming, labor reviews, and expense management reviewsDelivering ongoing data analysis, reporting insights, and actionable plans that directly influence EBITCo-leading and support cross-functional projects including planning, implementation, and monitoring phases in collaboration with the broader Financial Operations teamRelationship ManagerThe Fin Ops Manager is the primary liaison between Pharos and the Banner Operator, responsible for building and sustaining a high trust partnership. Core responsibilities include:Participating in weekly Banner operations meetings to represent Pharos and relay critical information back to the Pharos teamTroubleshooting Pharos Banner issues to ensure optimal utilization of Pharos tools and resourcesProviding ad hoc support and training on Financial Operations tools and softwareConducting routine check-ins with Banner executive leadership to ensure strategic objectives are being metDeveloping and maintaining a standardized reporting package for Banner executive leadershipResponding to external reporting requests from lenders, partners, and asset managersQualificationsRequired3 to 6 years of experience in financial analysis, financial operations, or a closely related field; post-acute care experience strongly preferredFamiliarity with skilled nursing facility reimbursement structures (e.g. Medicaid/Medicare, Managed Care, CMS VBP, CMMI Initiatives, ISNP, and other long-term care financial frameworks)Solid foundation in P&L analysis, budgeting, and variance reportingStrong analytical mindset with the ability to identify what matters in data and communicate it clearly to operational and executive audiencesNatural relationship builder who earns trust quickly and sustains it over time with operator and executive partnersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort facilitating cross functional meetings and presenting to senior leadershipProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial or BI reporting toolsHighly organized and self-directed, capable of managing multiple operator relationships and competing priorities simultaneouslyPreferredExperience with financial or operational tools used in SNF or post-acute settingsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent experienceWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceHybrid work model with flexibility built inDirect visibility to executive leadership from day oneA collaborative, mission driven team focused on measurable impact for skilled nursing operatorsRoom to grow within a scaling organization that values initiative and ownershipIf you are someone who combines financial precision with the ability to build genuine partnerships, and you want a role where both skills matter equally, this is it.We'd love to hear from you.
