If you enjoy working with vehicles, solving technical problems, and learning specialized skills, this is an opportunity to build a career in the growing field of automotive locksmithing. No experience? No problem. We provide paid, hands-on training that will teach you how to originate, cut, and program automotive keys, perform vehicle lockouts, and work on everything from everyday commuter vehicles to luxury and specialty models. Emergency calls primarily include automotive lockouts, lost keys, and urgent customer requests. After-hours jobs are compensated with additional commission opportunities. What We're Looking For Must be 21 years of age or older Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities Mechanical or technical aptitude Self-motivated and able to work independently Excellent customer service and communication skills Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for work documentation Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Preferred (Not Required): Bilingual ALOA or SAVTA Certifications Experience in automotive repair, mechanical work, or another skilled trade What You'll Be Doing Your primary responsibilities will focus on automotive locksmith services, including: Cutting and programming automotive keys and remotes Originating keys for lost-key situations Unlocking vehicles without damage Programming transponder keys, smart keys, and proximity fobs Servicing domestic, import, luxury, and specialty vehicles Diagnosing automotive key and immobilizer issues Providing professional customer service in the field As your experience grows, you'll also have opportunities to assist with: Residential lock installation and repair Commercial door hardware and access solutions Electronic locks and security systems Safe and vault work Career Growth Opportunities Automotive locksmithing is just the beginning.
