Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager:Lead and develop a team of 7 professionals across invoice processing and corporate card administrationOversee daily accounts payable operations, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and KPI attainmentManage high-volume invoice processing across multiple ERP systems, with a focus on scalability and automationDrive strategic initiatives to reduce manual processes and implement systematic, technology-enabled solutionsAdminister enterprise Travel & Expense and Procurement Card programs, including banking relationships, contracts, policies, and complianceMonitor program fees, rebates, and spending activity; provide budgeting, forecasting, and detailed financial analyticsPartner with sourcing, disbursements, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve processes and resolve issuesLead policy compliance and sensitive escalations with employees, managers, HR, and leadershipPerform period-end financial analysis including cost center results (actual vs. budget vs. prior year), labor/expense variances, and headcount trendsReview and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and management reportingConduct data analysis and investigations related to card activity and risk managementProvide hands-on support in a working manager capacity while coaching and mentoring the teamFoster a collaborative, customer-focused culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Manager:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)Experience leading accounts payable or shared services financial operations teamsProven leadership experience managing direct reports in high-volume, service-oriented environmentsStrong background in corporate card, T&E, or procurement card program management and complianceExperience handling policy enforcement, escalations, and risk mitigation situationsAdvanced Excel skills and strong financial/operational analytics capabilitiesComfort working across multiple systems and complex Procure-to-Pay ecosystemsAbility to prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentStrong communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder management skillsWillingness to operate in a hands-on leadership role with fluctuating workload demands Team & Culture:Reports directly to senior shared services leadershipOversees 7 direct reports across AP and card operationsEmphasis on servant leadership, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvementClear path for advancement within the shared services leadership structure #AccountsPayable #SharedServices #FinanceLeadership #AccountingJobs #HybridWork #NowHiring #LI-HYBRID
