Accounts Payable Specialist
Job DescriptionThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for ensuring all bills are recorded timely and accurately to the correct expense account and are paid within terms. The Accounts Payable Specialist will provide administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices and vendor statements. This position will also be responsible for handling special payment requests, clearing up credit balances on vendor accounts, and clearing up stale dated checks.The compensation for this position will be commensurate with education or work experience.What You'll Be Doing:Perform data entry/upload of vendor invoices for payment in Oracle System.Review the matching of PO related invoices.Correspond and follow up with vendors/managers on payment issues.Verify vendor accounts, pay vendors and resolve purchase orders, invoice or payment discrepancies.What You'll Need for Success:A high school diploma is a minimum requirement.
