Medical Assistant Opportunities It's more than a career, it's a callingWisconsin - SSM Health Dean Medical Group South Madison CampusJob Highlights:Wound Care department: 36-hours per weekWe have opportunities for:MA, CMA or RMA - must be graduates of a school of medical assistingEMTs with a WI licenseParamedics with a WI licenseLPNs with a WI licensePosition duties may include:Patient roomingIn office procedure assistanceInjection and vaccine administrationGeneral clinical administrative tasks in the electronic medical record program (Epic)Schedule:Monday through Friday - shifts will vary between 7:00am-5:00pmNo nights, weekends, or holidaysA well-qualified candidate will be:Comfortable with hands on patient careOpen to new experiences and new challengesAmbitious, motivated, and sympathetic in natureJob Summary:Provides assistance with the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a registered nurse or provider (physician or advanced practice provider).Job Responsibilities and Requirements:Primary Responsibilities:Assists with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' charts. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, scheduling patients, and filing.Performs basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of supplies. Assists with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.May document the provider's encounter with patients. Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider.
