JOB DESCRIPTION:Assist the Store Manager with supervision of all operations in the Grocery and Sub-Departments (Bakery/Deli, Produce, and Meat); Assist in emphasis on customer relations and dealing with employee’s concerns; Assume Store Manager functions in the absence of the Store Manager.RequirementsMust be willing to relocate for promotion.An individual must have previous work experience as a P.I.C. and/or 3rd Person.Include two or three professional references, for example store manager, district manager or previous employers.Must pass the required background check.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:A commitment to high standardsUse of fingers, hands and armsUse a 10-key calculatorUse basic math and calculate retail pricingEstablish relationships with customers and suppliers, and conduct company business in an ethical mannerConscious of job principles, facts, procedures, and policyEffectively direct and control work in area of responsibilityThe ability to support and encourage employees, and help them with their jobHas leadership capabilitiesTo have the ability to train employees in their jobsTo understand the duties of all departments, such as meat, Bakery/Deli and Produce departmentEstablishes good communication with Store Manager and other PIC’sAbility to exercise good judgmentGood planning and organizational skillsProblem solving and analytical skillsAbility to control expensesCommitment to follow up, including observing, monitoring and evaluatingOrganize and coordinate store activitiesPerform all duties assigned by our company policiesProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Corporate databases (BRData, Movement)QUALIFICATIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. In addition to the essential functions, the following requirements must be met:Education: High school diploma or equivalentLanguage: Ability to read, write, and speak English fluentlyMathematical: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.
