Position: Idaho - IDJC - Application DeveloperLocation: Nampa, ID- 83687 (Hybrid Role)Contract: 3 Months of contractIn-person InterviewIMPORTANT NOTES - read fully:Onsite Requirements: Onsite work IS REQUIRED in this role. The expectation is that the person will be fully onsite for an initial period as determined by the client and will then have the ability to work in a HYBRID schedule with onsite work expected on a regular basis as is mutually agreed upon by client and contractor.Contract Duration: This is expected to be a short-term contract position with an initial duration of 3 months. There is a possibility it could extend beyond that, but candidates submitted MUST be aware and comfortable accepting a position that may only last for a 3-month duration.Expected Weekly Hours: Contractor is expected to work 32 hours per week, ideally working 8-hour days, Monday - Thursday, though the client is willing to consider an alternate schedule for the 32 weekly hours. MAKE SURE you have made this clear to your candidates and they are comfortable with this 32 hour/week expectation prior to submitting them.Local Candidates: Because this requires on-site work with a short-term duration, ONLY SUBMIT CURRENTLY LOCAL CANDIDATES who are able to work onsite and comfortable with a short-term project.Background Checks: In addition to those required by the contract, IDJC requires additional background checks and fingerprinting that must be completed. As long as the required checks noted as part of the compliance tab come back clear, they are able to begin while going through the process of these additional checks that will be run by the client, but please make your candidates aware of the additional checks so they know these will be required (and of course that continued employment would be contingent on these additional checks also coming back clear).QualificationsFull-time professional work experience in the development and support of Information Technology applications.RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 6 to 8 yrs.DescriptionJC IDJC is seeking staff augmentation to provide skilled expertise in application development in pursuit of completing the final phase of the modernization of the Idaho Juvenile Offender System - IJOS2.0. This developer will augment the existing state IT Team in meeting critical go-live deliverables as a member of a cross-functional team.
