Job Summary: Under the leadership of the Pharmacy Manager and the technical guidance of a pharmacist, assists the pharmacist in filling medication orders, preparing IV admixtures and maintaining appropriate levels of medications in pharmacy, nursing units, service carts and trays to meet patient care needs.Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications:Licensure: Must hold an Indiana Pharmacy Technician Certificate or an Indiana Pharmacy Technician in Training Permit. All requirements of certification must be maintained at all times.Experience: Experience in aseptic compounding of IV admixtures required.Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED.Bluffton Regional facility will provide on the job training including IV admixture training. Successful completion of an Indiana Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician training program at a previous site is a plus
