Position SummaryHelp fulfill the university’s mission by teaching students and providing content expertise in structural geology and other areas such as geographic information systems (GIS), geophysics, field methods, mining, environmental, and general education courses in the geosciences. In the days immediately preceding and following semesters, faculty members attend meetings, grade papers, perform professional development activities, etc. Semesters last approximately 14 weeks, and annual faculty contracts cover 47.5 weeks.Courses, and other department responsibilities, are assigned by the department chair.
