Commercial Landscape Account Manager

Description The Maintenance Account Manager (AM) is a client-facing position responsible for the overall client experience, as well as partnering with an assigned PM in the leadership of production crews. The AM manages their assigned maintenance portfolio in accordance with company customer service ideals, quality standards, and contract protocols.ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain proactive communication and positive business relationships with all clients, property managers, HOAs, and other stakeholders to ensure retention in accordance with company standards.Manage and understand maintenance contracts and execute production schedules to meet or exceed contract-specific expectations.Proactively conduct property evaluations and client meetings to assess needs and client satisfaction; troubleshoot problems when necessary. Attend board meetings when requested.Identify and provide enhancement ideas and solutions to customers; partner with the Sales team to identify new opportunities.Manage budgets, reporting, and account billing according to established procedures; coordinate with internal partners to ensure resolution of issues.Partner with the PM to lead landscape maintenance crews of 3–5 employees. Effectively utilize labor and other resources to meet coverage plan requirements.Administer all performance management tasks and activities, including annual reviews, ongoing feedback and coaching, on-the-job training, and discipline as needed.Partner with HR and PM to ensure a positive employee experience from onboarding through exit.Work collaboratively with peers and the senior leadership team on various projects and initiatives.RequirementsAssociate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Construction, Customer Relationship Management, or a related fieldMinimum of 3–5 years of related experienceExperience coaching and managing employees in landscaping or a related labor-intensive industryAbility to effectively build positive working relationships with clientsMust be able to lift 50 lbsBasic proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and WordDemonstrated commitment to safety
