We are a high-growth vertical within the Motorola Solutions portfolio, focused on scaling our AI-driven insights to a global audience in Public Safety and commercial markets.Job DescriptionThis is a transformation role within a startup-minded team operating inside a large enterprise. You'll build and lead an empowered product organization focused on outcomes over outputs, working directly with distributed engineering teams across the US and Vietnam to solve real security challenges. You'll own business outcomes, drive the strategic shift from manual investigations to AI-native vehicle intelligence throughout the public safety software stack and reshape the future of physical security.What You'll DoLead Product Strategy: Define the multi-year vision and strategy for the software platform. Make investment decisions and guide your PM team in positioning us competitively while solving critical customer problems.Drive AI-Native Transformation: Lead the strategic transition from siloed technology to vehicle intelligence throughout the Motorola solution stack with AI-native physical security intelligence. Define how AI capabilities fundamentally reshape what our platform delivers to customers.Build Product Talent: Recruit: mentor, and develop high-performing product managers. Coach the team to operate in an outcome-driven, empowered product model focused on discovery and experimentation.Drive Customer Insight: Ensure deep customer intimacy across your team through continuous discovery work. Synthesize market trends and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.Own Business Outcomes: Take accountability for revenue growth, retention, adoption, and competitive win rates. Define clear KPIs that connect product decisions to measurable business impact. Coach your team to instrument products with telemetry that captures the right metrics and enables data-driven decision-making.Lead Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, and Support leadership to ensure coordinated execution. Drive Go-to-Market Excellence: Ensure successful launches through coordinated enablement across Sales, Support, and Customer Success. Establish feedback loops from the market back to product teams.What You'll Bring10+ years of product management experience in SaaS or enterprise software, with at least 3 years leading product teamsExperience in license plate recognition or video analytics strongly preferredProven track record building and scaling empowered product teams Change management experience - you've successfully transformed product organizations and operating models in established companiesExperience leading distributed product teams across time zones and geographiesDeep expertise in continuous customer discovery, experimentation, and data-informed decision-makingStrong business acumen with demonstrated impact on revenue, retention, and competitive positioningExceptional communication and influencing skills across all organizational levels, including executive leadershipWhat Sets You ApartAI/ML Product Leadership: Experience integrating AI capabilities into products—whether for intelligent video analytics, predictive insights, or automation. Past experience showing a reduction in human hours spent on a task via AI a plusAbility to thrive in competitive markets, making strategic bets and executing with speedExperience managing complex multi-sided ecosystems (partners, installers, integrators, end-users)Strong technical depth to engage credibly with engineering teams on architecture and trade-offsTarget Base Salary Range: $180,000 USD - $200,000 USDConsistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.Note: Candidate must be in the Waltham, MA office 2-3 days per week.
