Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Overview Urban Health Plan (UHP) is a network of federally qualified community health centers that provides comprehensive, affordable, quality primary and specialty health care across the Bronx, Queens, and Manhattan. Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and prevent mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders in children and adolescents Provide clinical diagnostic assessments and medication management Conduct individual psychotherapy Provide crisis intervention Consult with medical providers and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Provide in-service trainings to staff Collaborate with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals to develop care plans and monitor progress Qualifications Graduate of an accredited medical school Completion of an approved residency in psychiatry Completion of an accredited child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship Board certification required Valid NYS and DEA license At least 1 year of experience in a mental health setting, outpatient clinic, or hospital Ability to interact and communicate with a diversified population Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Benefits Fully funded health insurance for yourself 73.5% funded health insurance for your family Dental insurance $50,000 term life insurance 401(k) retirement savings with annual UHP contribution Competitive salary Comprehensive time off including paid vacation, personal time, sick time, and paid holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
