Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will foster a nurturing environment that enhances the quality of life for those you serve.DutiesAssist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessaryMonitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately in care plansAdminister medications following HIPAA guidelines and prescribed schedules to ensure safety and compliancePrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when requiredMaintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, laundry, and sanitation practices in accordance with health standardsSupport residents’ emotional well-being through companionship, engaging activities, and social interactionFollow detailed care plans designed by nursing or healthcare professionals to deliver consistent, high-quality careRequirementsProven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with elderly or disabled populationsKnowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, memory care, hospice care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autismCertifications in first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills; additional training in medication administration preferredAbility to lift heavy objects safelyStrong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition or behaviorFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient informationExcellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and family membersCompassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving that promotes dignity and independenceJoin us in providing exceptional elderly care that truly transforms lives!
