Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist - Travel Job
Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field as required by individual clients.Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.BLS certification.Client-specific requirements: experience performing routine clinical chemistry, hematology, blood bank, urinalysis, and microbiology testing. Experience with phlebotomy and performing receptionist/phlebotomist tasks as part of workflow. Demonstrated competency in quality control procedures and maintenance of laboratory equipment.Preferred: prior hospital laboratory experience and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and laboratory information systems (LIS).Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Hospital.Shift Name: Days.Shift Type: First/Second Shift rotation.Start: 05/03/2026.
