Shop Mechanic Needed

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about working with machinery and ensuring optimal performance. Must: experience with diesel vehicles. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various types of machinery and equipment. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to identify problems accurately. Conduct inspections to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently. Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory of parts. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance equipment reliability. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Mechanic Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Attendance bonus---$3/hr addition to hourly wage just for working each scheduled shift each week.
