Role Description We are seeking a full-time Sports Medicine Physician to join our team at our Margate, FL location. This on-site role involves diagnosing and treating sports-related injuries, developing personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans, and collaborating with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Additional responsibilities include providing preventive guidance to athletes, conducting physical exams, and educating patients and their families about recovery processes and lifestyle adjustments. Qualifications Strong foundation in Primary Care and Medicine for comprehensive patient evaluations and treatment plansExpertise in Orthopedics and experience in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuriesKnowledge or experience in Physical Therapy and rehabilitation techniquesBackground in Medical Education, with the ability to provide patient education on injury prevention and recoveryExceptional interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary teamDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree with an active and unrestricted medical licenseBoard certification in Sports Medicine or eligibility to obtain certificationExperience working with athletes or active individuals is an added advantage
