The Surgical Nurse will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients before, during, and after surgery. This role requires monitoring patients, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless surgical operations. Adherence to medical protocols and maintaining high standards of patient care are essential responsibilities of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in operating room procedures and familiarity with surgical instruments and techniquesStrong background in nursing practices and patient careUnderstanding of medical and surgical protocols, with the ability to assist in diverse surgical casesExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsActive RN license in Florida and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are requiredAdvanced certifications such as Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) are preferredPrevious experience in an operating or surgical setting is desirable
