Job DetailsDescriptionHourly Non-Exempt PositionCompany: Underground Storage, LLCEssential Duties And ResponsibilitiesSafety & ComplianceSupport plant safety champion programs, including training coordination, documentation, and scheduling.Review and process Safe Work/LOTO Permits and associated safety documentation.Review and track vehicle and heavy equipment inspection reports.Plant Operations SupportProvide daily operational support to plant operators and supervisors as needed.Attend and support safety meetings, toolbox talks, and operational meetings.Track and assist with annual and recurring compliance requirements.Maintain Operator qualifications.Inventory, Equipment & Date ManagementMaintain chemical, materials, and fuel inventory records.Track and document equipment bump tests and calibration testing.Collect and enter readings and test results into spreadsheets and systems.Support end-of-month data collection and reporting.Order operational supplies (e.g., gas and diesel) as needed.Training & CommunicationAssist with the coordination and tracking of required plant and safety training.Support toolbox meetings and on-the-job training activities.Record Keeper of weekly alarm and radio checks and results.Systems & TechnologyMaintain operational spreadsheets, logs, and electronic tablets.Ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping across plant systems.Assist with updates and maintenance of operational tracking tools (i.e., PM and notifications).QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.2+ years of experience in plant operations, manufacturing, industrial, or field-based environments preferred.Basic knowledge of plant safety, compliance, and operational procedures.Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and basic data entry systems.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.Physical & Work RequirementsHourly, non-exempt position.Combination of office and plant floor work.Ability to work in an industrial plant environment.May require walking, climbing, standing for extended periods, and light lifting.Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).ScheduleDay shift with flexibility based on plant operational needs.Occasional overtime as required.Other RequirementsMust be able to complete and pass post-offer checks, including, but not limited to, background, drug, references, and education.
