Our mission is to be uncompromising in pushing the boundaries of component design and manufacturing for every OEM partner.About the Role: This highly visible Sales Manager position is responsible for the strategic planning and development of sales within an assigned sales region. A results-driven VJX Sales Manager will have a thorough understanding of the region’s operations with the ability to identify opportunities. Exceptional customer service skills and engineering background are critical in achieving or exceeding customer and company expectations.Responsibilities:Maintain and continue to build existing relationships with OEM customers by making periodic visits and phone callsIdentify new business opportunities by conducting market research, analyzing market surveys and attending related industrial tradeshows and exhibitionsDevelop sales by generating leads, setting customer visit appointments, preparing quotes and traveling to customer locationsNegotiate and close ordersResponsible for conducting technical presentations for current and potential customersAssist sales management to develop and execute sales plans to achieve objectives regarding revenue, profitability and market shareAchieve annual booking plan on a quarterly basisMaintain a real time sales forecast, sales database and reporting results per company requirements and structureCollaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering team and operations team to ensure current and future market requirements are thoroughly understoodAct as primary point of contact for customers and resolve customer issues quickly and effectivelyQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in a technical/engineering disciplineRequired Skills:Sales experience in an OEM environmentDemonstrated history of successful sales management and quota achievementAbility to travel domestically and internationally – 30% to 40% of the timeWillingness to learn and the ability to thrive in a technical environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a cross functional collaborative teamStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to manage multiple accounts with strict attention to detailWell established verbal and written communication skillsSuperior presentation skillsAbility to read schematicsProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteMust be authorized to work in the U.S.Will need to successfully pass a personal background check and drug screeningsThis role can be hybrid requiring employee to be onsite one week per month.Local candidates are expected to be onsite 5 days per week.Preferred Skills:Three to five (3 to 5) years of directly related experienceExperience and/or knowledge of Sales, Marketing or Applications Engineering within technology industries, preferably in instruments, electronics, or capital equipmentExperience using Salesforce Software or another CRM platformExperience using an ERP systemEqual Opportunity Statement: [Include a statement on commitment to diversity and inclusivity.]
