Test Engineer – Tactical CommunicationsScottsdale, AZ Up to $44.00/hourPosition OverviewSeeking a Test Engineer to support integration, verification, and validation of embedded tactical communications systems. This role works within a cross-functional engineering team to test and validate mission-critical hardware and software solutions using the Unified Testing Framework (UTF).Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute system test plans, procedures, and diagnosticsPerform functional, environmental, operational, and performance testingSupport integration of hardware, firmware, and software systemsDevelop and maintain automated test scripts using Python (3.9+)Design test fixtures, equipment, and troubleshooting methodsImplement verification and validation (V&V) methodologiesSupport Agile development and system integration activitiesDocument test procedures, results, and reportsRequired Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field2+ years of relevant experience, ORMaster's degree with 6 months of relevant experienceKey SkillsExperience with test engineering concepts and methodologiesObject-oriented programming and scripting experienceExperience with signal analyzers, signal generators, or USRP test equipmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to work in collaborative engineering environmentsWork EnvironmentFully onsiteLocation: Scottsdale, AZCitizenship RequirementDue to the nature of the work, U.S. Citizenship is required.Why Join CPI?For over 40 years, Contract Professionals, Inc.
