In 2023, we launched our Craft Beer Division, and we’re growing fast.We’re looking for a driven, relationship-focused Beer Sales Account Manager to expand our presence across San Francisco’s on-premise (bars, restaurants, taprooms) and off-premise (retail, liquor, grocery) accounts.This is a performance-based, field sales role for someone who enjoys being in the market, building relationships, and growing brands.Position OverviewThis is an Outside Sales role primarily conducted in the field. The majority of work time will be spent visiting accounts, generating orders, opening new business, and expanding placements.The territory is concentrated within San Francisco and surrounding areas for efficiency and strong account coverage.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage relationships with bar managers, beverage directors, and retail buyersSecure draft placements, features, and package distributionOpen new on-premise and off-premise accountsExpand product placements within existing accountsExecute tastings, portfolio reviews, and promotional activityRepresent and sell the full SFN portfolioMaintain accurate and timely CRM documentationPerformance ExpectationsTarget 12–15 in-person account visits per day within a dense, localized territorySome visits (tastings, onboarding, portfolio reviews) may require extended timeVisit frequency may vary based on account needs and management directionMaintain consistent communication with buyers and the SFN team during core business hours (8AM–6PM), with flexibility based on account schedulesEnter clear, real-time notes in Encompass for all meaningful in-person and remote sales activityContinuously develop knowledge of beer styles, production methods, and competitive products to support account growthCandidate RequirementsMinimum 2 years of craft beer sales experience (required)Strong knowledge of draft systems and package salesProven ability to grow accounts and win placementsSelf-motivated, organized, and performance-drivenExcellent communication and relationship-building skillsReliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insuranceMust pass background screeningResidence RequirementDue to the localized nature of this territory, candidates must reside in San Francisco or within approximately 20 miles of the city to ensure efficient daily coverage.Compensation & BenefitsBase Salary: $70,000 – $73,000Monthly performance bonuses and incentive programsMileage reimbursementHealth insurancePTO: 5 days after 3 monthsMonday–Friday scheduleThis role is structured as an Outside Sales position in accordance with applicable California labor standards.Why Join SFN?This is not a maintenance route.This is a growth opportunity within a fast-expanding craft beer division where performance is recognized and rewarded.If you’re competitive, relationship-driven, and want to build real market presence in San Francisco, we want to meet you.Apply today and help us continue building one of the strongest craft portfolios in Northern California.Benefits401(k)Employee discountHealth insurancePaid time offApply for this Job
