Construction Operator

Company: Double EE Contractors LLC Location: Abilene, TX 79601 Job Type: Full-time Shift Options: Day Shift / Night Shift About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dependable Construction Operator to join our team full-time. In this role, you will operate heavy machinery and equipment, support daily job site tasks, assist with material handling, and work alongside our crew to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. We currently have openings for both Day and Night shifts. Key Responsibilities Safely operate heavy machinery and construction equipment (e.g., excavators, loaders, bulldozers) on site. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks before and after use. Assist with job site prep, loading/unloading materials, and grading or clearing areas. Follow all site safety procedures, wearing required PPE, and maintaining OSHA compliance. Work closely with supervisors and ground crew to complete daily site tasks accurately. Qualifications & Requirements Experience: 2+ years of heavy machinery/equipment operation experience. Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus, if required for your site). Strong focus on workplace safety and team communication. Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is optional but preferred (not required). Background Check: Must be able to pass a standard background check prior to employment.
