You'll serve as the on-site expert, offering guidance and support to less experienced team members.Connecting You To Great BenefitsWeekly PaychecksPaid Time Off, Parental Leave, and HolidaysInsurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance)401(k) w/ Company MatchStock Purchase PlanEducation ReimbursementLegal InsuranceDiscounts on gym memberships, pet insurance, and much more!What You’ll DoSafely perform fiber splicing, troubleshooting, and testing both aerial and underground Repair out-of-service drops or cable cuts as necessaryTest, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installationEnsure all splicing operations meet strict customer and industry standardsSplice fiber cable for underground transfers and help with light laborer dutiesSafely navigate working at different heights, from underground to in the airDocument work performed through daily production reports, including marking up maps and keeping correct material usage recordsOversee and guide other onsite workers to ensure tasks are done safely and correctlyOther duties as assignedWhat You’ll NeedTo be 18 years of age or olderAuthorization to work in the United States for this companyHigh School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experienceValid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical cardAt least 4 years of experience splicing, placing, and testing fiber strandsAdditional QualificationsCertified pole climber or capable of demonstrating proficiency as a pole climber, is preferredKnowledge of telecommunications network structurePhysical Abilities & ExposuresRoutinely: work at heights, in confined spaces and alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs and lift greater than 55 poundsOccasionally: use ladder and gaffs for climbing poles, keyboard, and mouseWhy grow your career with usYour career here is more than just a job — it's your pathway to opportunity.
