Nursery Worker

Job Summary The Church Nursery Worker is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for infants and toddlers during church services and events. This role involves caring for and engaging with young children, supporting their developmental needs, and assisting with the overall management of the nursery. Duties - Implement age-appropriate activities to engage children in learning and play - Supervise and monitor children to ensure a safe environment - Assist with feeding, diapering, and maintaining cleanliness in the nursery - Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development - Collaborate with other staff members to create a nurturing and stimulating environment Experience - Previous experience in childcare, preschool, or babysitting - Knowledge of childhood development and behavior management techniques - Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and special education is a plus - Experience working with students or children with diverse needs - Certification in first aid is preferred Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 5 per week Ability to Commute: Jacksonville, FL 32210 (Required) Work Location: In person
