Human Resources Payroll
Position OverviewWe’re partnering with a client seeking a Payroll & HR Specialist to support a team of 50+ employees. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented who enjoys owning payroll while also contributing across key HR functions like onboarding, benefits, and employee support.What You’ll Be DoingPayroll:Process weekly payroll accurately and on time, including wages, bonuses, stipends, and time offMaintain and update employee records (pay rates, tax withholdings, direct deposits, etc.)Manage payroll deductions, including taxes and benefitsEnsure compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll regulationsPartner with leadership to ensure alignment between payroll, timekeeping, and employee dataHR & Benefits:Serve as a go-to resource for employee questions related to payroll and benefitsAdminister benefits programs (medical, dental, 403(b), life, disability, COBRA, etc.)Reconcile benefit invoices and ensure accurate deductionsSupport onboarding and general HR administrationMaintain accurate, confidential employee recordsEnsure compliance with HR-related regulations (FMLA, ACA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.)What We’re Looking For3+ years of payroll and HR experienceStrong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and complianceExperience with systems such as ADP (or similar platforms)Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables)Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skillsCPP certification is a plusWhy This Role Stands OutHigh-impact role with ownership over payroll and visibility to leadershipBlend of payroll and HR for someone who enjoys varietyCollaborative environment with strong internal partnerships
