You’ll have exposure to complex projects across the U.S. and internationally while supporting transformative business initiatives.Responsibilities:Lead monthly and annual financial reporting, close processes, and account reconciliations.Oversee project accounting, client billing, revenue recognition, and profitability reporting for design and consulting projects.Manage annual financial audits, tax compliance, regulatory filings, and internal financial controls.Act as the firm’s Deltek Vantagepoint accounting and reporting expert, ensuring system accuracy and integrity.Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making, contributing critical financial insights.Develop financial analyses, dashboards, and KPI reports that drive business performance and decision-making.Lead, coach, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements to elevate efficiency, reliability, and compliance.Support the administration of ESOP and 401(k) programs, contributing to employee ownership initiatives.Must-Have Skills:Active CPA license.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.Experience leading accounting operations, audits, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls.Strong knowledge of GAAP, project-based accounting, revenue recognition, and financial compliance.Team leadership and development experience in finance/accounting.Advanced proficiency with financial systems, ERP platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint highly preferred), and reporting tools.Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Nice-to-Have Skills:Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar project accounting systems.Background in professional services, architecture, engineering, or consulting environments.Familiarity with ESOP-owned companies and employee ownership program administration.Proficiency in Power BI or advanced financial analytics tools.Experience with process improvement, automation, and multi-entity financial consolidations.Exposure to A/E/C industry-specific financial compliance and reporting.Strong Excel skills and comfort with dashboard/report building.
