Inventory Analyst
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Good experience in Supply Chain Management for NPI programs/environment, preferably Automotive Industry
5+ years in Inventory management, cycle count adjustments, Invoice resolution (IR Vs. GR), Data analysis – inventory
Accuracy and Inventory turns
Knowledge of materials management & warehouse operations,
Extensive usage of SAP – inventory count/physical inventory.
Analytical: Strong Google Sheets/ Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, Data Visualization) and the ability to turn raw data into actionable insights.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ensure accuracy of inventory data by validating the inventory levels at both Company sites and Consigned material at Suppliers in the ERP
Invoice Resolution (Gr vs. IR)
Resolving invoice discrepancies in a timely manner to avoid supplier disruption to payment
Create Stock Transport Order (STOs)?
Make cycle count adjustments
Oversee appropriate system parameters, profiles, safety stocks, display minimums, etc. to achieve store/item in-stock goals and objectives
Facilitate cross-functionally within operations, sales, transportation and inventory coordinators
Complete transactions in ERP system.
Assist in the creation of production schedules.
Compile and analyze information related to inventory accuracy, Inventory turns.
Reconcile accounts, review reconciliations, and make sure that all outstanding items are properly cleared.
Utilize SAP to process cycle counts, review on-hand inventory, and other activity. Coordinate with warehouse management to adjust SAP inventory as required.
Communicate and develop process improvements as needed.
Assist in the warehouse with miscellaneous activities including receiving, shipping and put away processes and transfers to/from the production areas as needed.
Production data reports, including volume produced, consumption of raw material or quality control measures
Discrepancy reports of over/under amounts and any damaged product reports
Process improvement documentation that include but are not limited to cycle counts and inventory management
Auditable inventory integrity reports
Data Analytics & Reporting
Inventory Aging: Monitor and report on slow-moving and obsolete inventory. Drive action plans for disposition to free up warehouse space.
KPI Management: Manage key metrics including Inventory Accuracy, Aging, Inbound/ Outbound throughput.
Special Projects: Act as onsite lead for any special projects as requested.
Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 a year
