Role: Client Partner - Technology Sales
About the position
The ideal candidate is a high-energy, highly motivated individual, a visionary leader who has an entrepreneurial attitude, with a proven record of building all aspects of a services business from sales to delivery. This person will bring a combination of deep industry domain expertise, knowledge of the industry, good client engagement skills, strong delivery understanding, and a deep sense of urgency that is required to manage a rapidly growing business area.
The role primarily focuses on "Sell-To" and "Sell-With" execution of the Alliance Business. Requires up to 40% travel and significant interactions with alliance partners, prospects, clients, and internal stakeholders.
What you'll do
Develop, lead, and manage assigned partnerships with the technology customers.
Sell-To focus on Product Engineering Services / Development Partner Offerings in support of the customer's growth and profit within the Data & Cloud segment.
Understanding of complex deal structures in support of strategic partnership contract veichles.
Develop a deep understanding of the assigned customer's business strategies. Evangelize Persistent's value proposition internally within the company. Work with cross-functional teams to create strategic business plans and growth initiatives aligned with the partners' strategies and Persistent's growth strategy.
Work with cross-functional teams on execution of these initiatives, inclusive of enablement, practice development, solutions, competencies, and marketing, to exceed plan achievement.
Increase partner-driven sales revenue for Persistent by establishing alignment between the Persistent salesforce and the customer by designing and running activities such as: Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), joint account mapping, joint pipeline review and forecast, solution definition and alignment.
Enable engagement in the field between Persistent Account Executives and their counterparts at the partner organizations. Support sales activities, webcasts, roadshows, and contract negotiations.
Work directly with the Persistent marketing team to develop channel marketing program, including enhanced partner website portal, partner product certification and training, and marketing collateral.
Own Partner Operations, which includes both setting up the administration and governance within the partner, as well as managing activities such as opportunity registration, revenue reporting, continuous enablement through training and certification, and program attainment.
