CLOSING DATE: 4/14/2026POSITION: HousekeeperSALARY: $20.55-$25.03 DOELOCATION: Keller, WASummary:The Housekeeping staff provide general cleaning of the building and keeping it maintained and in good condition. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Cleaning and stock restrooms. Ensure doors are locked after hours. Clean up spills with appropriate equipment. Perform minor repairs. Collect and dispose of trash. Tasks include minor plumbing work, painting, flooring repair and upkeep, electrical repairs and heating and air conditioning system maintenance. Our goal for this position is to contribute to the maintenance of SPTC facilities in a safe and sanitary manner.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience cleaning preferred; training will be providedMaintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products; ensure safe and sanitary storage and care of productsPerform general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of floors as neededIn charge of vacuuming equipment, vacuum and clean carpets and preform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as neededDispose of trash from bins and containersDust and polish furniture and room accessories as neededScrub sinks, basins, and toilets in restroomsClean windows, glass surfaces, mirrors, and counters as neededResponsible for the proper use of cleaning techniques and chemical usage; cleaning duties include wood floor, linoleum, and terrazzo floor surface upkeepKeep all public spaces neat and tidyFollow all safety, infection control, and personal protective equipment requirementsAbility to lift up to 25 to 30 poundsPhysically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of timeOrganized and able to follow a scheduleAbility to follow verbal directions.Organized and able to follow a scheduleKnowledge of Safety Data Sheets (SDS)Note: Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing.
