If you are a passionate professional seeking a fulfilling career with a supportive atmosphere, we invite you to apply and become a key part of our dynamic legal team.Position SummaryThe Audit & Compliance Clerk is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of client-driven audits throughout the year, for performing and maintaining documentation of periodic control reporting, internal auditing, and for reviewing and submitting account-level special handling issues including but not limited to complaints, disputes, and fraud claims.The Audit & Compliance Clerk must have the ability to work independently on projects, to work well under pressure, and to handle a wide variety of duties. The ideal individual will have strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Attend and participate in weekly meetings with the Audit & Compliance team to discuss current or potential compliance issuesProvide client audit deliverables as instructed by the Audit & Compliance Supervisor and LeadPerform periodic controls and internal auditing as assigned in the Audit & Compliance Task ListMaintain the Accountability Log to ensure all identified issues are being addressed timelyIdentify, document, and submit complaints, disputes, and other special handling items to clients according to their work standardsWork with other departments to find root cause for identified issues and work in a collaborative manner to remediate those issuesComplete periodic and ad hoc training and retraining in order to continuously build and maintain knowledge of client requirements, incorporate changes in processes, and adapt to changing expectationsDemonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees and clientsBuild trust, value others, communicate effectively, drive execution, foster innovation, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively, and demonstrate high integrityBuild professional relationships that meet company core values andProactively establish and maintain effective working team relationships with all support departmentsPerform other related duties as required and assignedMinimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)Experience with Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook, Excel, and WordStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsStrong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlinesAnalytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityAble to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
