The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Health Insurance applications while collaborating with business and product teams in an Agile environment.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, maintain, and support Health Insurance applications using Mainframe technologies.Work with PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, COBOL, SAS, and related Mainframe tools.Provide both application development and production support.Develop and maintain batch processing solutions using JCL, SORT, SAS, and REXX.Debug and troubleshoot applications using IDz and related tools.Manage code deployments and version control using Git.Collaborate with Product Owners and Business Units to resolve issues and drive action items to completion.Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Support integration efforts involving Web Services, REST APIs, JSON, and MQ technologies.Required Qualifications:10+ years of experience with PL/I, IMSDB, DB2, JCL, and SORT.Strong experience developing and supporting Health Insurance applications.Experience with COBOL, SAS, REXX, VSAM, and other Mainframe technologies.Knowledge of Web Services, REST APIs, JSON, and Message Queues (MQ).Experience with scheduling tools such as Control-M.Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:AWS cloud knowledge and awareness.Exposure to AI technologies and capabilities.Experience working in Agile development environments.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
