Cyber Security Engineer

We are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer focused on maintaining operational stability, while reducing risk, and is part of a diverse, cross‐functional team that collaborates globally across the organization with a variety of partners from service desk technicians to system architects, developers, and compliance.This is a hands‐on role with someone who can not only manage a cybersecurity program but also has built a secure infrastructure in a hands‐on role.Preference for a candidate who has deep experience in Microsoft Azure and the Office 365 stack.What you will be doing:Leverage the Microsoft Azure security stack including Sentinel to prevent, detect and respond to threatsProvide regular reporting on the status of the information security programUsing your hands‐on skills proactively threat hunt using a variety of tools looking for indicators of compromiseWork with the SOC on alerting, triaging, and responding to potential incidentsManage the cybersecurity awareness program and constantly work on new ways of improving employee awareness based on current threatsPerform risk assessments on all new IT changes and projectsUpdate the incident response plan and corresponding playbooks. Lead incident response tabletopsDevelop and maintain a framework of continuously up‐to‐date information security policies, standards, and guidelinesLead cybersecurity projects focused on mitigating probable and impactful risksDevelop and enhance an up‐to‐date information security management frameworkFacilitate a metrics and reporting framework to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the security programWork with the compliance team to ensure that all information owned, collected, or controlled by or on behalf of the company is processed and stored in accordance with applicable laws and other global regulatory requirementsManage and secure all applications, endpoints, network, and cloud environmentsLead penetration testing and red teaming effortsManage and measure the vulnerability and update management programWhat you will need:Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar5 years of experience as a cybersecurity engineer and/or Senior Cybersecurity EngineerProfessional security management certification such as CISSP, CCISO, CISM, and/or CISAHands‐on experience in cloud infrastructure with Microsoft Azure preferredProven capability to work alone in implementing security changesStrong knowledge of information security best practices, standards, and frameworks, such as CIS, NIST, ISO, and othersProven track record and experience in developing information security policiesPrivate Equity and/or hedge fund experience strongly preferredHybrid infrastructure experience required#J-18808-Ljbffr
