This position will report to our Assistant Controller.Overview:The Accounts Payable Specialist will serve as a business partner who will communicate with signatories and vendors. In addition, they will be responsible for communicating, processing and managing outgoing vendor invoices and payments.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesManaging AP (Accounts Payable) using accounting software and other programsAccurately review invoices for appropriate documentation and code prior to paymentReconcile invoice discrepanciesPrepare documentation for vendor set-upAddress and respond to vendor inquiriesProcess payments by checks & wires on or before the due date for separate entities and vendorsProcess expense reports on a regular basisProcess credit card billsProcess AP (Accounts Payable) Invoices using 3-Way MatchMaintain many vendor accounts while staying in compliance with company policies and procedures (such as taking advantage of the discount period)AP analytics and monitoring of specific transactionsOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.Delivers with a commitment to excellence and dissatisfaction with the status quo.Develops positive relationships with internal constituents and support teams.Qualifications3-5 years relevant Accounts Payable experience in a corporate settingBachelor's degree in a related field is preferredExperience with an ERP system (SAP preferred)Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly ExcelResourceful, flexible approach to problem-solvingCustomer service mindsetStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationshipsAttention to detailSelf-motivated and bias for actionApproachable, authentic, and genuinePay:The pay range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.
