Software Integration Engineer – HPC (10+ yrs) – TS/SCI w/Poly RequiredLocation: Annapolis Junction, MD (Onsite)Shift: DayOn-Call Support: YesSecurity Clearance: Current TS/SCI with Polygraph (less than 7 years old)We are seeking a Software Integration Engineer with deep HPC experience to execute and maintain automated integration and system testing processes across diverse HPC operating environments. You will develop scripts/playbooks for system-level integration, create technical documentation, coordinate integration activities, and communicate results to stakeholders. Testing includes performance, functional, redundancy, and failover to ensure system stability.Capabilities:Integrate, install, configure, upgrade, compile, and support COTS/GOTS softwareGenerate full software stack documentation and sustainment support updatesLinux system administration & shell scriptingExecute test codes for software performance characterizationOwn HPC tools as a software product ownerCM tools, web documentation, issue trackingDevelop software tool plugins in native languagesDetermine optimal HPC configurations for customer needsRequired Skills:Linux CLI & Linux toolsRecent Bash/Python scripting to automate HPC system testingRecent Linux admin in HPC multi-host/multi-instance environmentTroubleshooting hardware/software in HPCTracking/reporting issues to stakeholdersConfiguring & sustaining VMware ESXi / virtualizationContainerization (Docker)IaC & automation tools (Ansible)Metrics/monitoring tools (ingesting, indexing, searching, monitoring, analyzing data)Network monitoring tools (configure, analyze, troubleshoot HPC network performance)CI/CD principles & tools including GitLab CIGit Source ControlDesired Skills:Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)Agile principles & methodologiesQualifications (one of the following):Bachelor’s in CS or related + 10 years demonstrable experience integrating COTS/GOTS in heterogeneous OS environmentsOR 5 years full-time CS-related work (in lieu of degree) + 10 years demonstrable experienceOR Industry-recognized professional certification (as defined in TT0s) = 1 year experienceOR Master’s in CS or related = 2 years experienceCompensation: Depends on ExperienceBenefits:Medical: 3 plans (2 Platinum PPO 0deductible,1HSA0deductible,1HSA1500 deductible) – Halogen pays 100% up to $25,000Dental: Halogen pays 50%Vision: Halogen pays 100%401K: 10% company contribution, fully vested, paid each pay periodLife, AD&D, STD, LTDPTO: 20 days + 6 Federal + 5 Floating Holidays
