Vehicle Integration and Test Engineer

Job Description: NVIDIA - Vehicle Integration & Test Engineer - Santa Clara, CAThe Vehicle Integration & Test Engineer will be a part of NVIDIA's triage team and will handle reported incident escalations with the product. The Vehicle Integration & Test (VIT) Engineer will troubleshoot and find root cause issues related to the sensors, warning lights, cameras, computing unit issues, ECU, ADAS system, and application errors. The VIT Engineer will find the root-cause-and figure out how to fix it, it stops when it goes into software, for example if there's a bug in the software then the issue will be handed off to software team. Handshake of software, they must upload software packages to the product. There's no programming of software, but will need to upload these software packages in a Linux environment (basic commands), this is higher level for sensors and software packages.Qualifications:4+ years of hands-on experience diagnosing robotics or hardware4+ years of experience with automotive bus systems for analysisExperience with tools and systems such as FLEXRay, CANoe, CANalyzer, Automotive Network protocols, etc.Strong Linux experience-deploying/updating/installing software packages into Linux OSExtensive experience troubleshooting electrical systemsPreviously worked in a troubleshooting role-specifically within electrical systems -Bachelors in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, IT)Nice to have (Not Required)Previously worked in the OEM industry: Rivian, Waymo, Zoox, Tesla, Argo.ai, Momenta, Cruise, May Mobility, Nuro, Drive.ai, Honda R&D, etc., OR Aerospace industryJob Info:Job Type: ContractDuration: 2+ years (On-going)Location: Santa Clara CAHourly Pay: $60.00-$80.00Health, Dental, Vision, 401k10 PTO Days, 5 Paid Sick Leave Days, Paid Holidays
