In this role, you will play a key part in shaping and scaling our pricing analytics capabilities, helping drive smarter pricing decisions and improved profitability.You will work with large, complex datasets to uncover insights, build scalable data solutions, and develop tools that empower business leaders to make data-driven decisions.This role offers the opportunity to build and scale a modern pricing analytics function while working with cutting-edge tools and large, complex datasets. It is a high-visibility position with a direct impact on revenue and profitability, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to drive meaningful business results through data.Key Responsibilities & Expectations:Develop and enhance pricing analytics to improve margin performance and price realizationBuild scalable data pipelines and analytical models to support pricing and commercial strategiesDesign and deliver dashboards and tools that provide clear visibility into pricing performanceTranslate complex data into actionable insights and compelling business storiesPartner with cross-functional stakeholders, sales, finance & operations to identify opportunities and drive adoption of analytics solutionsSupport the development of pricing strategies through data modeling, forecasting, and analysisWhat Success Looks Like:Increased visibility into pricing performance and key margin driversReduced margin leakage through actionable, data-driven insightsStrong adoption of dashboards and pricing tools across the businessImproved price realization across key customer segmentsRequired Skills & Experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or pricing-related rolesHands-on experience with Power BIStrong proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar analytical toolsExperience working with large datasets and building scalable data solutionsPreferred Skills & Experience:Experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or commercial analyticsFamiliarity with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., AS400, Salesforce)Knowledge of statistical modeling, forecasting, or optimization techniquesExperience building customer-facing analytical tools or dashboardsHands-on experience with Palantir FoundryKey Skills:Pricing analytics and margin optimizationData visualization and storytellingData pipeline and platform developmentStrong business acumen and stakeholder engagementProblem-solving and critical thinkingAbout UsWhen you join Alside, you are part of a leading exterior building products distribution business serving residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
