This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, site safety requirements, and company safety standards while promoting a proactive safety culture across the project site.The ideal candidate will have extensive construction safety experience, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to independently manage field safety activities in a fast-paced construction environment.ResponsibilitiesMonitor and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations and site safety proceduresConduct field safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessmentsLead incident investigations and root cause analysis effortsReview Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), permits, and work plans for safety complianceIdentify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actionsFacilitate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and employee orientationsCoach and mentor field personnel and contractors on safe work practicesMaintain safety documentation, reports, and audit recordsCoordinate with project management, contractors, and field supervision regarding safety performancePromote continuous improvement in safety processes and site performanceSkills And QualificationsCurrent CSHO certification requiredOSHA 510 certification requiredOSHA 30-Hour Construction certification requiredMinimum 5 years of construction safety experienceStrong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and regulatory complianceExperience conducting field audits, inspections, and incident investigationsExcellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently in active construction environmentsStrong problem-solving and hazard recognition abilitiesJob DetailsPay: $50/hour, $67.50/hour overtimePer Diem: $176/dayLocation: Abilene, TX, for a data centerSchedule: 6 days on 1 day off, 10 hour days
