Let’s move ideas from concept to reality together.Summary Of PositionThe Senior Financial Analyst will support cost accounting activities, month end close processes, journal entry preparation and review, and financial planning and analysis. This role will partner with operations and finance leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, disciplined cost control, and timely management insights. This positions reports the Accounting Manager in New Bedford.Specific Duties And ResponsibilitiesSupport product and manufacturing cost accounting, including standard cost setting, cost rollups, and variance analysisPrepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with US GAAP and internal control requirementsSupport month end and quarter end close activities, including account reconciliations and financial statement analysisAnalyze inventory transactions, manufacturing variances, and overhead absorptionCoordinate with operations and supply chain teams to understand cost drivers and production performanceSupport budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processesPrepare financial analysis and reporting for management, including explanations of actuals versus forecast and planAssist with internal and external audit requests related to cost accounting and financial reportingSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to financial processes, controls, and reporting accuracyPosition RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA and/or CPA is preferred3 -5 years’ experienceStrong knowledge of standard costing and manufacturing accounting conceptsExperience supporting month end close and journal entry processesStrong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracyProficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelAbility to communicate effectively with finance and operations stakeholdersAbility to handle multiple tasks and manage time effectivelyThe pay range for this role is $85,000 - $100,000
