UWorld is looking for experienced MCAT experts and tutors based in the Dallas-Fort Worth a to develop instructional videos for students preparing to take the MCAT. This is an independent contractor position, where you will work with a team to create video content that accompanies UWorld's educational materials.Minimum Education RequiredBachelor's degree requiredMust have taken the MCAT with a competitive scoreMinimum Experience RequiredExperience tutoring MCAT level content including testing strategies and exam specific subjects. Experience making instructional videos or lectures is highly preferredRequired SkillsMust be local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area with the ability to come onsite for occasional video recording workStrong on camera presence with the ability to teach difficult concepts in a fun and engaging mannerPassion for education and learningAbility to communicate difficult concepts clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formatsAbility to think strategically and analytically and transform conceptual ideas into a visually appealing product Proven history of working independently while operating within a team environmentAbility to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positivelyAbility to adapt quickly, brainstorm, and collaborate in a team settingProficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite productsJob ResponsibilitiesThe contractor will collaborate with the UWorld MCAT team to execute the following:Review 20-30 short MCAT strategy and test-taking tip-related video scriptsPresent strategies in a clear, engaging, and authoritative mannerAttend filming sessions at the UWorld headquarters in Cypress Waters (Dallas/Coppell)Compensation And BenefitsUp to $50 per hourThis role will include a mix of remote prep and onsite recording workFlexible schedule with an estimated time commitment of approximately 30 hours over the course of 1-2 months.
