If this sounds like you, come join Space Force Analytics (SFA) and a team of scientists, engineers, and space system acquisition experts that are developing and fielding the next generation of remote sensing satellite and ground systems.As a Transition to Operations Engineer on our team, you will work with SFA colleagues, other support contractors, and U.S. Space Force personnel to develop and execute plans to transition space systems from development to operations and sustainment. You will work with system testers, operators, and sustainers to develop and help implement transition and sustainment support strategies and participate in transition planning working groups. You will grow your skills by learning new technologies and work with warfighters to ensure space systems meet their needs. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to the success of the programs that you support. This position is hybrid work from home and office, with occasional travel to various contractor sites and U.S. Government installations.You Have5+ years of experience working large-scale space mission and systems engineering and integration on national security space programs4+ years of experience developing system transition and sustainment plansExperience with stakeholder engagement, project management, and communicationsKnowledge of system engineering management and processes, including development phasing, lifecycle integration, requirements development, analysis, testing, and integrationAbility to communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Developmental Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goalsHighly motivated with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environmentSecret clearanceBachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related fieldNice if You HaveExperience working with DoD and Space Force system testers, operators, and sustainersExperience performing systems engineering, integration, and test on space based remote sensing systemsExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02Knowledge of DoD systems engineering principles and policiesAbility to develop written artifacts supporting Space OperationsTS/SCI clearanceMaster’s degree in an Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related fieldINCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP CertificationCareer GrowthSFA offers a variety of ways for you to develop your career including tuition reimbursement, professional development, mentoring, employee engagement groups, and networking opportunities. Salary and Benefits$150K to $250K, depending on qualifications and experience401(k) with 10% company matchingHealth Insurance premiums 100% coveredLife Insurance premiums 100% coveredPTO includes holidays, sick days, and vacationFlexible hybrid work from home and officePaid parental leaveEducation reimbursementSigning bonusAnnual bonus and pay raiseAdditional benefits for U.S. military veterans
