Warehouse Associate
Overview:
We are actively seeking a Warehouse Associate to maintain our warehouse facility and inventory. Under general supervision, you will be responsible for maintaining secure inventory storage and control of materials in/out of the warehouse. You will perform duties associated with storage, shipping, receiving, and physical counts of the assets to verify integrity, and you will assist in the administration and purchasing of assets along with the assessment of inventory data. You will serve a crucial function in driving efficient logistics for our company that allows us to provide high quality results to our clients.

What You’ll Do:
Operate various types of material handling equipment.
Load and unload pallets and cartons of materials used in daily operations.
Receive materials against a bill of lading or purchase order, validating quantities and updating inventory systems in accordance with audit requirements
Stock materials in designated inventory locations
Process orders and returns using inventory and billing systems
Process material stock requests
Manage delivery of materials to technicians and other company locations as needed
Assist in preparing, counting, and reconciling daily, monthly, and annual materials cycle counts and inventories
Provide excellent service to internal and external customers
Maintain warehouse security at all times
Provide proper use and care of scanners and computers used in daily operations
Maintain a clean, orderly and safe warehouse environment
Perform other associated duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum one (1) year experience working in a warehouse environment
High school diploma or equivalent work experience
Proficiency with computers and ability to operate MS Office, inventory software, and bar-coding equipment
Ability to read, write and speak the English language to communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, in person and on the phone, or in written communications in a clear, straightforward and professional manner
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to work independently
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack and obtain certification for same
Ability to safely use weight-bearing equipment (such as safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of that equipment
Able to repetitively lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, squat, kneel
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record within Company and State DOT standards
Experience with cable products and services preferred
