Job Title: Network/Data Engineer Location: Redmond, Washington Job Type: Contract Duration: 10 Months Job Description:Ability to thrive on a highly technical team in a 7x24x365 NOC environment including nights, weekends as requiredStrong communications skills (verbal, written)Strong Troubleshooting skillsPrior experience working with (troubleshoot, diagnose/repair) internal/external transport providers.Familiar with reporting issues to various LEC via Ticketing systems and/or phone calls and follow up callsExperience in supporting routed networks including hardware, software, protocols, provisioning and basic troubleshootingFamiliar with Hardware and Fiber transport systems, SFPs, Knowledge of Telco Transport systems such as DWDMFamiliar with Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, IS-ISFamiliar with Juniper and Core NetworksAbility to use various enterprise tools for day to day operations (AOTS-M, CM, etc.)Knowledge of Engineering systems such as TIRKS, Worddoc, GranitePrevious Mobility RAN transport experience is a plusCCNA or CompTIA Network+ preferred.
