What You'll Be Doing:
(We don't love the bullet points, but we love the work!)In this key Application Developer role, you'll get to contribute to a software suite built for evolving mission needs, developing and integrating services that blend messaging, observability, container orchestration, and reliable backend engineering.
Required Skills:
- Experience using the Linux CLI and Tools
- Experience developing scripts using BashRecent Python (3.x) software development experience
- Experience with Messaging Frameworks including RabbitMQExperience with NoSQL databases including MongoDBExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Experience creating Helm Charts to deploy containerized services on Kubernetes
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools including GitLab CIExperience with distributed logging and monitoring concepts and tools including Elastic
- Stack and Prometheus/Grafana
- Experience using Git Source Control System
Desired Skills:
- Experience with SQL databases including PostgreSQLFamiliar with IaC principles, methodologies, and tools such as Ansible
- Experience with Rust programming concepts, or a willingness and aptitude to learn Rust
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
- Appreciates a sense of humor and the occasional well-timed joke.
